Magnolia Gets Active With Organizations
Aug. 13, 2010 | Author: kmottl | No Comments »Magnolia Health Plan (Magnolia) was a proud sponsor of the 24th Annual Conference for the Mississippi Primary Health Care Association (MPHCA). We share MPHCA’s commitment to ensuring all of our members receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place. We were happy to be able to sponsor this important event and support the organization and its members. We look forward to working with the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) to delivery quality care to our Magnolia members.
The MPHCA is a non-profit, 501(c)(6) membership organization representing the interests of 21 FQHC members in their effort to improve access to healthcare for the medically underserved and indigent populations of Mississippi.
Another event Magnolia participated in was the Mississippi Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s (HFMA) conference. We chose to participate as a vendor at their annual conference because we understand the importance of the HFMA in supporting groups that deliver healthcare.
The Mississippi Chapter of HFMA is a professional membership organization for individuals in financial management of healthcare institutions and related patient organizations.
Recently in July Magnolia attended the Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians Annual Conference. Magnolia was a Sponsor for the conference as well as a conference Vendor.
The Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians is an organization of family physicians dedicated to continually and cost effectively improving the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health of the people of Mississippi.
