Using Your CentAccount Card
Your CentAccount card can be used at stores and pharmacies, as well as offices of healthcare providers, child care facilities and Babies-R-Us. You can also use your CentAccount card to pay for utilities such as gas, electricity, water and sewer.
Effective January 1, 2011, CentAccount funds cannot be used to buy over-the-counter medicine without a prescription. If you have any questions, please call Member Services at 1-866-912-6285 (TDD/TTY: 1-877-725-7753).
You can use the funds on your CentAccount card toward many purchases. These purchases include:
- Over-the-counter medications but with a prescription
- Denture Adhesives, Repair, and Cleansers (PoliGrip, Benzodent, Plate Weld, Efferdent)
- Diabetes Testing and Aids
- Un-medicated condoms
- Diagnostic Products (Thermometers, Blood Pressure Monitors, Cholesterol Testing)
- Ear Care
- Elastic Bandages
- Braces
- Eye Care (Contact Lens Care)
- Family Planning (Pregnancy Kits, Ovulation Kits)
- First Aid Dressings and Supplies (Band Aid, 3M Nexcare, J & J First Aid, Non-Sport Tapes, etc.)
- Hearing Aid/Medical Batteries
- Walking Aids
- Nebulizers
- Wheelchairs
- Reading Glasses
