Become a Provider

Thank you for your interest in participating with Magnolia. We are excited that you have selected Magnolia’s provider network as your network of choice.

Please note that all requests for participation will be reviewed by Magnolia’s Recruitment Committee. This committee meets monthly to carefully evaluate each request submitted. The Recruitment Committee uses several factors when making a decision. Such factors may include but are not limited to:

  • Number of Magnolia members in your area
  • Number of currently contracted Magnolia providers in your specialty,  in your geographic area
  • Driving distance between members and contracted Magnolia providers
  • Magnolia business needs

All applicants will be notified in writing by the Contracting Department as to the decision of the committee within approximately 45 business days of receipt of your request.

CHIP

Magnolia has a business relationship with Mississippi Physicians Care Network (MPCN) to utilize MPCN’s network of practitioners for the Magnolia MS CHIP product.  MPCN will manage the contracting, credentialing and re-credentialing processes for practitioners that have a relationship with MPCN for the MS CHIP product. For additional information about MPCN, please contact 1-800-931-8533 to speak to a representative.

For practitioners that have been credentialed through a facility or other entity, the facility or entity will manage the contracting, credentialing and re-credentialing processes.

If you are not eligible to participate in the CHIP network through MPCN or through your relationship with a facility, please fill out the attached Contract Request Form, fax it to the number on the form, and a contracting representative will contact you.
